International Design & Art Expo Congress ARTDOM Riyadh, which is taking place at the iconic Kingdom Centre on the Four Seasons ballroom, is bringing together an exhibition of the world's best brands and a congress attended by more than 50 design icons. The event was opened with the participation of members of the royal family and attracted over 2,000 guests on its first day. It has quickly become a key event for the industry in the region.
"Our goal is to establish Riyadh as a hub for the global design community," said Daria Zolotova, founder and creative director of ARTDOM. "The uniqueness of the format lies in its synthesis of a premium exhibition, an intellectual congress and exclusive networking events where collaborations are born."
The central part of the program is the congress, an event that brings together key industry visionaries. Yesterday, the legendary Giulio Cappellini and Rossana Orlandi opened the programme with a discussion on the intersection of art and design. Throughout the day, Carlo Colombo, Pierre Gonalons, Red Sea Global representatives, and other experts discussed the future of the profession. A session on the GCC luxury market phenomenon attracted particular interest from the audience. Other speakers and ambassadors included Francesca Russo, Lisa Carmona, Marzia and Leonardo Dainelli, Mohammed AlMashkhari, Hani Saad and Massimiliano Ferrari.
Running alongside the congress is a premium exhibition, where leading global interior companies participate.
