The cabinet Wheat is inspired by Russian cultural traditions. Wheat, a symbol of abundance and hospitality, becomes here a vessel of memory and care. The frame is made of stained oak and basswood and assembled using the traditional tongue-and-groove joint method, without nails. The front is decorated with blackened copper cladding inlaid with brass. The central decorative element is a selenite plate mounted on a brass platform. The legs are made of natural stone.
